City Council asks to be told what it already knows about Port Authority

The Port Authority of Kansas City is like a turd in a punch bowl.
The city agency is blowing up because its lawyer, William Session, ran an excavating company that received a multimillion-dollar contract to move earth at a former airbase the Port Authority has redeveloped. The deal, which has been all over the news, clearly stinks. Still, the City Council has asked for an audit, which is sort of like waiting for lab results before fishing a piece out of poo out of the egg nog.
