Church youth leader accused of indecent solicitation of a child

Sick story of the morning. Michael Joy, a 40-year-old church youth leader, is accused of aggravated indecent solicitation of a child between the age of 8 and 14, Fox 4 reports.

Joy was arrested at Stony Point Baptist Church last week, and the church’s pastor, Thomas Hamilton, told Fox 4 that Joy confessed to having been in prison before but lied about the reason.

Fox 4 did some digging and found that Joy’s previous conviction was for eight counts of child molestation in the 1980s.
