Chiefs v. Browns

Chiefs fans: If you think you are watching the worst franchise in the NFL, consider the Cleveland Browns. Yes, Todd Haley has struggled in his coaching debut. But Browns coach Eric Mangini is worse, having now proved his incompetence at his second NFL franchise. The Chiefs fired their offensive coordinator, but the Browns went one better, firing their general manager. Former Chief Larry Johnson’s social-media messages caused his departure from Kansas City, but Browns wide receiver Braylon Edwards outdid Johnson by earning his departure from Cleveland by punching out a member of LeBron James’ entourage. Both now play for better teams, proving that crime may not pay, but liquor-fueled bar fights and public homophobia sure do yield dividends. Today, the two feeble clubs meet at Arrowhead Stadium (1 Arrowhead Drive) for a noon start, relevant only to fantasy football owners and NFL draft experts trying to get an early start on their mock drafts. Tickets start at $35. Call 816-920-9440 for details.
