Chester Kelley shot to death in the stairwell of an apartment complex and 76th and Monroe
Chester Kelley was found shot to death Saturday in the stairway of an apartment building at 76th and Monroe.
Officers were called to a shooting around 12:58 a.m. Kelley, 34, was pronounced dead at the scene. He is the 88th homicide in Kansas City, Missouri, this year. For 2011, the KCPD has solved 49 of this year’s homicides (detectives have also cleared 17 homicides from previous years).
