Charon Haley found shot to death on doorstep in south Kansas City; 71 homicides in KCMO
The violence on the Plaza may have stopped for a weekend, but it didn’t in other parts of the city. A homeowner on Kansas City’s south side found Charon Haley dead on the doorstep of the home Saturday morning.
Police aren’t sure why Haley was at the home in the 9300 block of Newton. His body was discovered around 1:24 a.m. He was dead from a gunshot wound.
