Update: Kansas City police have identified the victim of Tuesday evening’s homicide as 40-year-old Charles Levingston Jr. of Kansas City, Missouri. Police are still looking for suspects in Levingston’s killing
Original Story (November 9): The shooting death of a man near a Fast Stop convenience store is Kansas City, Missouri’s 90th homicide of 2011.
KCTV5 reported that officers found the man dead in the parking lot of the Fast Stop at 5020 Blue Ridge Cutoff around 6:40 p.m. Tuesday.
The victim is described as a black man who was about 40 years old.
