Casey Simmons, ex-Missouri sheriff’s deputy, told ex-wife he planned to kill his mistress

In a cemetery on the night before Halloween in 2008, a Jasper County Sheriff’s deputy was caught on tape telling his ex-wife that he’d kill his mistress to get back together with her.

The Joplin Globe reported that ex-Jasper County deputy Casey Simmons was caught on tape telling his ex-wife, Misty Simmons, what he planned to tell his mistress and baby’s mama, Kimberlee LeClaire, before he killed her: “I’m killing you so I can be with Misty.” 

“That’s awesome,” Misty Simmons told her ex-hubby in the tone of I’ve turned informant on you.
