Boulevard wins bronze medals for ZŌN and Saison-Brett at the Great American Beer Festival

Boulevard Brewing Co. collected a pair of bronze medals at this past weekend’s Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado. The three-day festival saw third-place finished for ZŌN in the Belgian-Style Witbier category and Saison-Brett in the French- and Belgian-Style Saison category.

ZŌN won a gold medal in 2012 and 2009 and bronze medals in 2011 and 2003. The limited-release Saison-Brett won a gold medal in 2011.

Boulevard wasn’t the only local medal collector. Columbia, Missouri’s Logboat Brewing Co. picked up a silver medal in the English-Style Mild Ale category for Mamoot Mile Ale, and St. Louis’ the Civil Life Brewing Co. took home a gold medal in the Rye Beer category for its Rye Pale Ale.

And on the Kansas side of the state line, Blind Tiger Brewery & Restaurant in Topeka added to its collection of GABF gold medals with a first-place finish for its Basil Beer in the Herb and Spice Beer category. Blind Tiger now has seven GABF gold medals.
