Boulevard Chocolate Ale hits the streets next week

The hunt for Boulevard Brewing Co.’s Chocolate Ale begins next week. 

Boulevard announced today on social media that the popular Smokestack Series seasonal beer will hit store shelves on Tuesday, February 3. But before you can get one of the 750 ml bottles, you’ll be able to get a taste.

Bars and restaurants around Kansas City will begin tapping Chocolate Ale kegs on Monday, February 2.  

Last year’s edition of Chocolate Ale was delayed a few days due to a winter storm. It’s hoped that this year’s will be delivered on time. 

Also, for those on the hunt, keep in mind what Boulevard founder John McDonald told me last year: “Remember, it’s just beer.”

So if you’re planning on hoarding Chocolate Ale or attempting to sell it for outrageous prices on Craigslist, don’t. Don’t be that guy (or girl). Just don’t be a dick.
