Bluegrass in the Bottoms, a new Kansas City fest, debuts this spring

Cool news: today it was announced that the inaugural Bluegrass in the Bottoms festival will be held in Kansas City in May. The two-day fest will take place Friday, May 19, and Saturday, May 20, in the East Bottoms outside Knuckleheads Saloon. 

Big names on the bill include Greensky Bluegrass, the Infamous Stringdusters, Railroad Earth, and Yonder Mountain String Band.

Supporting acts include Fruition, Horse Shoes & Hand Grenades, Shook Twins, and Joshua Davis. More acts are TBA.

Two-day early-bird passes are available for a limited time for $51. The VIP package is $100 for two days, and gets you special gate entry, VIP area access, a grab bag, a private cash bar, and after-party access. General tickets go on sale this Friday, March 17, at 10 a.m.
