Bleach Bloodz

Bleach Bloodz tells it like it is. Listeners are promised slinky, swinging rock on this debut EP, and that’s exactly what the Kansas City band delivers. Inspired by ’70s anthems about sex, drugs and (what else?) rock and roll, Bleach Bloodz’s Pure captures the raw energy of a live bar band powering through a drunken set. “Got a Feelin” is the backbone of the album, celebrating dancing with your gal, getting high and, of course, having a motherfuckin’ feeling about rock and roll. Bleach Bloodz offers all the components of classic-rock acts: foot-stomping rhythms, reeling guitar solos, and a frontman who does his damnedest to sound like Mick Jagger. Pure Rock N Roll is unapologetically raw and sloppy at times, evidence that Bleach Bloodz is tapping into one of rock’s essential elements: soul.
