Black Eyed Peas’ security censors photos of Fergie’s fall

Photographer Scott Spychalski, shooting for The Pitch at the Black Eyed Peas show at the Sprint Center Wednesday night, says he felt the stage shake when Fergie took a spill during the show’s first song, “Let’s Get it Started.”
Spychalski and the other six photographers with photo passes for the event were only allowed to shoot the headliners for two and a half songs before being hustled to the side of the stage by the band’s security. Each of them were instructed to flip through their digital photos for the guards to view. When they came to Spychalski’s shots of Fergie’s clumsy moment, a guard said, “Oh, she fell?” The rest of the photographers looked at the ground, not wanting to admit that they had pictures of it, too. One by one, they were ordered to delete the Fergie-fall shots as the guards watched.
