Birmingham White’s luck done run out — he’s charged with murder again

In the summer of 2009, Jackson County prosecutors dropped the second-degree murder charges they’d filed against Birmingham White, now 25 years old. White had been accused of killing a man he called his best friend. White lucked out in that case because “the evidence changed,” as top prosecutor Jim Kanatzar told The Pitch at the time.

Now, White is again the subject of a Kansas City Police Department probable cause statement accusing him of murder.
