Bill outlawing texting while driving advances in Kansas Legislature

Kansas lawmakers are getting closer to criminalizing texting while driving.

The Associated Press reports that the Senate Judiciary Committee approved Senate Bill 351 and the bill is headed for floor debate.

The Kansas State Highway Patrol is supporting the ban, citing driver inattention is the No. 1 contributing factor to automobile

crashes.

While texting while driving is endangered, gabbing on your cell is still cool.
