There aren’t a lot of details out there now. The bicyclist’s name hasn’t been released. KCTV 5 is reporting that the bicyclist was a man, and he died at the scene. The accident occurred around 8:10 a.m.

Bike Week ends today. Just a couple nights ago, the annual Ride of Silence tribute to cyclists and pedestrians killed by motorists was held in Brookside. Unfortunately, there will be another cyclist to ride for next year.
