How about the weather? It is currently very hot outside! I have to mow the grass after I write this blog post, and I AM DREADING IT. Well, we could continue to discuss the weather, and my chores, or I suppose we could talk about music to see this weekend. Music it is!

In KC, yacht-rock cover band Summer Breeze is holding it down at RecordBar. Holding my breath for “Ride Like the Wind.”
Fans of “bigfoot death metal” will no doubt be pleased to learn that Troglodyte is at the Granada, along with Unmerciful, the Roman Holiday, and Chaos Interval.
Also in Lawrence, rootsy Springsteen acolytes Marah are at the Bottleneck. Hospital Ships are at the 8th St. Tap Room.
