Bernard E. Love homicide: Double shooting kills one early Sunday

UPDATE: The victim of Sunday morning’s homicide in KCK was 36-year-old Bernard E. Love of KCK.

A double shooting early Sunday morning left one dead and another in critical condition in Kansas City, Kansas.

KCK cops hit the scene — a residence in the 1500 block of North 23rd Street — around 12:48 a.m. and found a black man believed to be in his thirties, dead. The second shooting victim, also described as a black man in his thirties, was rushed to a local hospital. At last word, he was in critical condition.
