Benjamin Redgate convicted of killing man who accused him of cheating at Madden football video game

A Wichita jury found Benjamin Redgate guilty of killing a man who accused him of cheating to win while playing a game of Madden football.
The Wichita Eagle reported that the jury returned the guilty verdict — second-degree intentional murder — after a little more than two hours of deliberation.
The incident started when Luke German, 22, accused Benjamin Redgate and his older brother, Chris, of cheating after losing a game. German was reportedly intoxicated (he showed up to the Redgates’ home with beer and K2), and he and Chris Redgate got into a shoving match.
