Belief Is Not Required

I simply do not know what to tell you. This week’s full Moon on June 4 in the early morning, way before I like to wake up on any given day but especially a Monday, makes your soul weep for the time when all is given. It is a womb like Moon. So guard your needs carefully. Yes, I do know what to tell you. It is up to you to decide to listen, heed or, goddess forbid, put into practice.

As a lawyer who chooses not to practice but who pays his dues to the WSBA (Washington State Bar Association) every February, truly I tell you that this weekly writing grates my nerves at times. It’s especially a planetary thing. Right now, each Taurus, Libran, Pisces and, by collateral extension, Aries, Scorpio and Capricorn is being put through his or her planetary paces.

During your time of year, we all dance between what is truth? But must your dance be the tango? Is it necessary to constantly battle with what you do not agree? Yes, I know I skipped a step from the astrological calendar’s perspective. You’re the next air sign. With your ruler still sitting prettily in the evening skies and looking like she is moving backward, a skipped step makes the recovery all the more sweet. Trust me, scale bearer, your time is coming. Stay true to your ethical soul balanced with a pragmatic view of reality. You’ll come out smelling sweet as a rose (and not just any rose, but one of your favorite color!). You try working with those of the water element who believe that they are “spiritual” and “evolved” and come away feeling good. I apologize for my dry ass Scorpio ways when it comes to the initiating (but sometimes unexamined) waters of Cancer. Moon children, you must accept how vulnerable you are to every tide of feeling. Try as I might, I learn to enjoy adoring you. When you speak unabashedly from your heart’s desire, you are ir-fucking-resistible. This Venus retrograde has all the markings of your turning a dance into a romance. Dances turned romantic (props to the late Whitney Houston’s “I Want to Dance With Somebody Who Loves Me”) are what these next two months are about for you. If there’s no real love around you, check yourself. Explore the narrative of what you tell yourself about love. I’ll help you. This is what Scorpios (psychologically healthy ones) were born to do for you. I had this story that I could be friends with everyone on the planet if I decided that is what I wanted to be. With Jupiter in Taurus and Mars in Virgo, you two fire signs are being taken to task about how you go about manifesting what you visualize. It is not OK to request to be forgiven when you have grown to a clear point of maturity. Sag, you have until June 11 to purify, purify, purify. For both assertive fire signs, Juno asks from the sign of Scorpio that you elevate your game on a psychological level.
