Barbara Porter gets five years for covering up daughter’s sexual abuse — may she rot

In the past, I called Barbara Porter the World’s Worst Mother. I was wrong — to call her a mother. Porter was never a mother — you can’t be if you allow your husband to sexually abuse your 16-year-old

daughter.

Porter, 45, is going to federal prison for five years. She pleaded guilty in January to obstruction of justice. In other words, she helped her husband, Patrick Neal Porter, remove her daughter from protective

custody and run away to California with the girl.

This was after authorities found sexually explicit photos of the teen
