Barack Obama in Kansas City
For two rainy hours Thursday, the people of Kansas City stood outside the downtown Marriott hoping for a glimpse of President Barack Obama. Kept at bay by crappy weather, snipers, and police barricades, it wasn’t much of a crowd. There were a handful of the faithful — a smattering of teabaggers and one lonely preacher happy for a crowd that wouldn’t run away. They all wanted a glimpse of the commander-in-chief.
