Bacon Explosion guys now exploding with cash

It’s been quite the year so far for Jason Day and Aaron Chronister. Their recipe for the Bacon Explosion got them on the front page of The New York Times and was the highlight of Superbowl parties across the country. Turns out the best was yet to come, as the pair reportedly just inked a six-figure book deal with the rights to a cookbook based on the recipes found on their Web site, BBQ Addicts. Again, that’s more money than most of us make in years of work to make America’s asses even fatter. No word yet on whether a movie’s been optioned, but we can vouch for Mickey Rourke being awesome behind a meat counter. I have to hand it to Day and Chronister and it’s cool to see someone from KC make good. If anyone needs me I’ll be locked in my basement with three turkeys, two pounds of sharp cheddar, three onions, four pounds of sausage, a cow’s stomach and some of the Jack Stack rub trying to Chef Boyardee my way out of the Great Depression II.
