The Pitch‘s sixth-annual festival full of bacon and bourbon — fittingly named the Bacon & Bourbon Festival — is this Thursday, April 18, at the Truman.

-Over 20 bourbons to sample, from Boot Hill Distillery, Bulleit Bourbon, Crown Royal, Seagram’s 7 Crown, George Dickel Tennessee Whisky, Jonnie Walker, Oban, Talisker, Lagavulin, Singleton, Baileys, Devils River Whiskey, Pinckney Bend Distillery, Union Horse Distilling Co. & Wicket & Peg.
-Food samples from The Aladdin Holiday Inn Hotel, Bizz & Weezy Confections, Crazy Good Eats, EJ’s Urban Eatery, The Fontaine, The Homesteader Cafe, Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar, KC Bacon Co, Parker at The Fontaine, Pickens Sweet Treats, Pig & Finch Leawood, The Pressed Penny Tavern, Reserve, Smitty’s Garage Burgers & Beer
