Baby Birds Don’t Drink Milk on Good Evening tonight

For some reason, we’ve never mentioned KJHK‘s award-winning talk program, “Good Evening.” Ostensibly a chat program, it is in fact so much more.

Frequently featuring live, in-studio performances from the Lawrence musical community, as well as interviews that go way beyond the norm, George McGovernn and Richard Dickens consistently bring the most bizarre and entertaining things to the radio every Monday from 7-8:00 p.m. on 90.7FM.

Tonight, the program emanates from Lawrence’s Wonder Fair Art Gallery and How! with a live performance from Baby Birds Don’t Drink Milk.

It’s a precursor to the band’s final local show for a while. After they play the Replay tomorrow night with Bad Weather California, BBDDM leave for a month-long tour that will take them to the west coast and back.
