Austin Rodeo Tickets Nearly 20% Lower Than San Antonio & Houston Rodeos

Every February once the Super Bowl is over and done with there is always a bit of a gap left by football that stretches until the start of spring and baseball season. There is no better marker to show that the beginning of spring is right around the corner better than the annual rodeo. Three of the best rodeos in all of Texas are the Austin Rodeo, Houston Rodeo and San Antonio Rodeo.

This year the first of these three fantastic rodeo’s to take place was the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo which begins on February 12th and will run through March 1st of 2015. Picking up where San Antonio leaves off is the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo which starts on March 3rd and runs through the 22nd. Running concurrently with the Houston Rodeo is the Austin Rodeo which begins on March 14th before finishing on the 28th.

San Antonio Rodeo tickets average $92.57 last year and basically on par with Houston Rodeo tickets which went for $90.72 on average. On the other hand, Austin Rodeo tickets go for 18% lower than the San Antonio Rodeo’s average, clocking in at a cost of $75.86 per ticket over the course of the rodeo. All three of these rodeo’s have adopted the practice of bundling their events with a performance by a well-known singer like Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Maroon 5 and Willie Nelson to name a few. The reasoning behind this is that by bringing in a performer it has the added bonuses of both increasing attendance as well as ticket prices. If you’ll be anywhere near Texas this time next year your would be remissed if you didn’t take your opportunity to hit up one of these three great rodeo’s.
