Ashton Oguinn shot and killed at 32nd and South Benton Monday night; 39 homicides in KCMO in 2012
Thirty-nine homicides. That’s how many killings there have been in Kansas City, Missouri, in 2012.
The city’s latest victim is 20-year-old Ashton Oguinn. His body was found on a sidewalk at 32nd and South Benton Avenue Monday around 10:30 p.m. He was dead at the scene.
A witness told police that two black males in their mid- or late teens were seen running from the scene after the shooting. Police say they are looking for the suspects, and they’re urging anyone with info to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
