For the talent behind tonight’s dance-installation mashup WE!, it would be just another day at the office … if the cubicles were staffed by a Superfriends-strength lineup of
local cultural name brands. Directed by choreographer Jane Gotch and jazz musician Mark Southerland, the show unites singer Shay Estes, fashion designer Hadley Johnson, artist Ke-Sook Lee, composer Paul Rudy and several other collaborators for a multidisciplinary event staged at the former AT&T Town Pavilion (1111 Main, with entrance on Walnut). Starting with tonight’s premiere, each half-hour performance — 7, 7:30 and 8:15 p.m. — puts that formidable “we” within close range of a small, intimately arranged audience. Expect movement, lights, sound — and surprises — three times a night, Thursday-Sunday, through April 3. The space is small, so get tickets ($10-$15) before they run out.
