Ariana Grande, Hozier and Barry Manilow Among Top Valentine Concerts in Kansas City This Month

Still looking for last-minute Valentine’s Day plans? Fear no more, for a string of concerts will be held around Kansas City throughout the end of the month. Among that list are Barry Manilow, K-Ci & JoJo, The Beach Boys, Bob Seger and John Mellencamp.

If you’re looking to see some more modern acts, however, country singers Chris Young and Lee Brice will hit the Independence Events Center on Thursday while Grammy performers Hozier and Ariana Grande take to the stage at the end of February. Both Hozier and Grande are two of pop music’s biggest rising stars, but their respective tours have generated some of the cheapest Kansas City ticket prices on the secondary market.

Barry Manilow will kick things off on Thursday night with a show at the Sprint Center. According to TiqIQ, the average price for Barry Manilow tickets to his Kansas City show is $181.32 on the secondary market. Fans can find the cheapest seats to the show for $67.

Friday night will see K-CI & JoJo and Bobby Brown play the Municipal Auditorium Arena while The Beach Boys hit the Ameristar Arena. Tickets to K-Ci & JoJo and Bobby Brown’s joint show average at $99.67 and the show’s get-in price starts at $85. 11 dates remain on The Beach Boys’ 2015 Tour, which wraps at Encanterra Country Club in San Tan Valley, Arizona on March 28.

On Valentine’s Day, John Mellencamp heads to Arvest Bank Theatre, where the average secondary price for John Mellencamp tickets is $203.02. The show’s cheapest seat is listed at $116. Mellencamp will be the most expensive show in KC this month, but will be the only concert on Valentine’s Day this year.

Next week, Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band will travel to INTRUST Bank Arena in Wichita. Bob Seger tickets average at $139.40 and get-in price starts at $73. The show will be Seger’s cheapest remaining show of tour, which wraps in Nashville at the end of March. Chris Young and Lee Brice head to the Independence Events Arena on February 19, with Chris Young tickets averaging at $74.01. The show’s cheapest seat is listed at $68. The Brothers Osborne will also take the stage, serving as the ideal country concert when taking a loved one out for a special night next weekend.

Hozier tickets to his show at Liberty Hall on February 23 average at $117.67 and fans can get in for $63 on the secondary market. Grande will play the first show of her first-ever headlining Honeymoon Tour at the Independence Events Center on February 25, where Ariana Grande tickets average at $122.14 and get-in price starts at $56.

Whether looking for a country show or crooning with Barry Manilow to one of his several dozen hits, Kansas City will welcome a number of concerts during this year’s Valentine’s Day holiday. Between the oldies in The Beach Boys and rising stars in Hozier and Grande, the City of Fountains will have it all on tap for you and your loved one over the final three weeks of February.
