Antonio Grandison tells police he killed Nick Dutcher. Burglar took urn with Dutcher’s mother’s ashes

Nick Dutcher had to believe someone had it in for him.

In January, Dutcher, a 30-year-old assignment editor for KSHB Channel 41 , went to Florida to visit friends. While he was enjoying his getaway, someone was breaking into his Ruskin Heights home and stealing more than $10,000 in electronics, valuables and an urn containing Dutcher’s mother’s ashes (which the thief dropped outside of Dutcher’s home).
