Anthony Jackson, 16, charged in the killing of Oladipo Oladimeja in a McDonald’s parking lot

Anthony Jackson was 15 years old at the time of

the killing of Nigerian-born

University of Missouri-Kansas City student Oladipo Oladimeja. He’s 16 now and facing second-degree murder charges (along with charges of first-degree robbery and armed criminal action) after being certified to stand trial as an adult.

Oladimeja, 25,

who worked as a corrections

officer, was using his laptop in the parking lot of a McDonald’s restaurant at 6406 Troost last July. According to court records, Jackson and 17-year-old Demony

Wilson approached him and asked for money. Oladimeja gave them $10, but the two saw that he had more money and the laptop, so they decided to rob him.
