Angel Rodriguez is transferring from Kansas State, and the Wildcats will miss him
Kansas State University will start next season with a new point guard. News broke Monday night that Angel Rodriguez will be transferring (to as yet an unnamed school) in order to be closer to his family in Puerto Rico.
“This decision was based entirely on my family and has nothing to do with Kansas State, basketball or the coaching staff,” Rodriguez said in a statement released by the university. “It’s unfortunate after the year we just had, but I just feel right now this is the best thing for me and my family.”
