The Kansas City Chiefs are in the NFL playoffs after reeling off a ninth-straight victory Sunday, and head coach Andy Reid is pretty excited.
The Chiefs held off a late rally by the Cleveland Browns to take a 17-13 victory. So what’s the road ahead look like? Potential more reasons for Reid to do a victory dab.
An AFC West title isn’t out of the question, although a lot is riding on what happens tonight on Monday Night Football with the Denver Broncos and the Cincinnati Bengals. Obviously, a Broncos loss is a good thing for KC. The Chiefs clinch the AFC West title with a win and a Denver loss in week 16 or 17 — or if Denver loses out, according to ESPN.
ESPN also projects the Chiefs in a potential Wild Card game with the Houston Texans, whom the Chiefs beat in the regular-season opener.
The 10-5 Chiefs get the Oakland Raiders in a season-finale home game on January 3. Meanwhile, the Broncos close the season at home against the San Diego Chargers.
Now let’s watch Reid hit the dab and blow up the Chiefs’ locker room.
