Andrew Suttington, KCMO homicide No. 77: Labor Day stabbing victim

Update (10:58 a.m. September 8): Cornelius Payne turned himself into police and admitted stabbing 23-year-old Andrew M. Suttington to death.

Witnesses told police that an argument between Suttington and Payne’s mother and sister preceded the stabbing.

Payne, 32, is charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal action.
