Andrew Luck is a bigger man than you (and that includes you, Nick Wright)

When news broke last night that Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck, the consensus No. 1 pick in April’s NFL draft, would put off the NFL to stay at Stanford for another season, the story quickly commandeered local sports talk.

Why? Because like Maverick was to Cougar, Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert was supposed to be the draft class’s No. 2 gunslinger. With No. 1 Luck out of the way, Gabbert is the new Top Gun.

Oh, and the story meant another thing: That 610 Sport’s Nick Wright would lose his fucking mind.
