Andrew Greene Jr., convicted rapist, sentenced to life in prison without parole

Convicted rapist Andrew Greene Jr. will never be a free man again. Last week, a judge labeled Greene an aggravated habitual sex offender and sentenced him to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
A jury convicted the 57-year-old homeless man in January of raping a mentally disabled woman in Olathe on March 9, 2009. The Star reported that Greene is the first Johnson Countian to be sentenced under the 2006 law requiring life sentences for habitual offenders. And Greene’s offenses dated back to the 1970s.
