An event for those who do not care for Howard Iceberg’s voice

  • Howard Iceberg

“As a once-in-a-lifetime special accommodation to those of you who like my songs but hate my singing (you know who you are), this Friday at the Writers Place I will be reading the lyrics to some of my songs as if they were poetry,” says Howard Iceberg in an invitation to join him at 3607 Pennsylvania at 8 p.m. this evening. “Following which I will punish the attendees by singing a few songs anyway,” he adds.

Also on hand at the event will be author Catherine Browder, who’ll do a reading. Sounds like a fine little Friday literary event to me.

For the record, I like Howard Iceberg’s voice, usually.
