Alt-J Will Headline Buzz Beach Ball 2015

The 96.5 Buzz Beach Ball will return to Kansas City this summer for its 11th installment on July 25. Held at Sporting Park, the concert will be headlined by Alt-J and also features performances by Awolnation, Taking Back Sunday, Glass Animals and Milky Chance.

Additional artists slated to play this year’s Buzz Beach Ball include Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, Misterwives, Robert Delong, Zella Day, Hanni El Khatib and the Ting Tings. Pre-sale tickets were made available to “Freeloaders”, the station’s exclusive customers, on Monday and will be accessible through Thursday. General public can begin purchasing tickets on Friday at 10am local time.

Buzz Beach Ball tickets on TiqIQ reached their highest average in 2012 at $83.38. That year, the concert was highlighted by performances from Sublime with Rome, Flogging Molly and Foster the People. Last year’s concert saw Arctic Monkeys, Weezer and The 1975 take the stage at Sporting Park.

Alt-J will headline the Buzz Beach Ball 2015 in support of their latest record, This Is All Yours, which was released last September. Awolnation is set to release its sophomore LP RUN next month while Taking Back Sunday continues supporting 2014’s Happiness Is.
