Alabama Shakes, Father John Misty stop at Starlight in May

If you haven’t seen Alabama Shakes live, there is good news: You can fill that hole in your soul on Friday, May 29, when the Athens, Alabama band stops at Starlight. Folk-rock troubadour Father John Misty will be opening the night. Quite a double-bill, if you ask us.

Alabama Shakes will be touring in support of their forthcoming album Sound & Color, the follow-up to 2012’s explosive Boys & Girls. Side note: Father John Misty’s show at the Granada on Wednesday, April 22, is sold-out, so if you’ve got to miss that, be sure to grab tickets to this concert.
