Akeem Matthews, gospel rapper, shot and killed in Kansas City, Kansas

Kansas City, Kansas, police say the victim of Friday’s homicide was 18-year-old Akeem Matthews. He was shot in the 1500 block of North 29th Street in KCK and pronounced dead at a local hospital.

According to Matthews’ Twitter page, he was an aspiring gospel rapper.
