Tonight: Another fucking tribute show!
Actually, I am kind of enjoying the sudden abundance of tribute shows in Kansas City, and I think tonight’s tribute to the Grateful Dead at Crosstown Station — Workingman’s Beauty — might be a good time. At least one of the dudes in the band, Steve Molitz, comes well-credentialed — he’s played with Phil Lesh & Friend and Particle. They’re a new act, too, and this is their first show. More info here.
