A bunch of local bands are playing a benefit show for Oklahoma tornado victims next Monday

The tornado that struck Moore, OK, last week left a lot of broken lives in its wake. Folks there still need a lot of help, and next Monday, June 3, you can lend a hand by attending MidCoast Cares presents: Rock for Relief, a benefit for Moore. It’s being held at the KC Live! stage in the Power and Light District, and will feature performances from Beautiful Bodies, Six Percent, Antennas Up, Not a Planet, She’s a Keeper, Ghost Town Heart, and Cover Me Badd.

The show starts at 6 p.m., and is free with a $10 donation. A $20 VIP package (which gets you two drink tickets and access to a VIP lounge) is also available. All proceeds benefit Heart to Heart International, an organization that’s already on the ground in Moore. Facebook event info here.
