Jeff Francoeur will eat your popcorn

Somebody needs to get Kansas City Royal Jeff Francoeur a sandwich between innings. Francoeur wasn’t able to catch a foul ball that ended up a few rows back in Tuesday night’s game against the Chicago White Sox, but he did manage to snag something else: a bite of a fan’s popcorn (MLB has the video here). Frenchy is a sneaky thief, too. Noticing that the fans’ backs were turned to see who caught the foul ball, he deftly dipped a hand in a front-row popcorn bucket and grabbed a kernel for the trot back to his regular spot in right field.

It’s not the first time that he has shared food with fans of an opposing team. He has broken bacon with Oakland Athletics fans the past two years. Daniel Day Lewis may drink your milkshake, but Francoeur, he’ll eat your popcorn.
