Best of KC 2026: Take a ride on the silly side
Earlier this month, we published The Pitch’s annual Best of Kansas City issue. You can take a peek at the results of the readers’ poll here. The issue also included a list, compiled and written by our editorial staff, of some local people, places, and things that we think make 2026 KC life feel like a winner. We’ll be publishing these online throughout June and July.
Here’s a relatively new addition to locals’ hometown bucket list.
Close the Uber app—you’ve got KC’s only electric pedicab service either a phone call or text away.
EZ Pedicab drivers are characters, the LEDs are bright, and the speakers are loud (“Diet Pepsi” by Addison Rae is a romantic request with your hair in the wind). Book a driver at your own discretion, or catch them at events like concerts and KC Current games. Then, you’ve got some options: head right where you need to be, take the scenic route, or spend some quality time with the city on a tour.
Is it a pretty penny? Yes. Is it worth it? At least once in your chud life.
