Photos: KU wins 53rd consecutive home opener in victory over Green Bay

The Kansas men’s basketball team cruised over Green Bay in a 94-51 victory in Allen Fieldhouse on Monday, Nov. 3.

With the win, the Jayhawks marked their 53rd consecutive home opener victory, with the last 23 belonging to Kansas head coach Bill Self. Sophomore forward Flory Bidunga led the team with 23 points, giving him a career high. Freshman guard Darryn Peterson posted 22 points in the first half, leaving the second half with cramps.

The Jayhawks start the season 1-0 and travel to Chapel Hill to play no. 25 North Carolina on Friday.
