Eat This Edible: Good Tide offers the Missouri cannabis industry big waves in the midst of fall

All Flavors Lifestyle

Oregon-raised cannabis company Good Tide, under the Wyld Cannabis umbrella, is beginning to make gentle waves in the Missouri market, after expanding to the state recently.

With six different edible flavors, each of which contain different dosages of craved cannabinoids, the company is gradually easing into the nearly three-year-old industry. All six of the options are crafted with single-strain hash rosin, offering a full-spectrum experience.

On top of the gummies top-notch cannabinoid infusion, the products are also vegan and made from real fruit. In a market where it is much easier to cut corners and mass produce distillate edibles, businesses that pride themselves on inclusive, quality cannabis is commendable.

The Pitch had the opportunity to sample three of the six of the company’s options that are now available to Missourians. 2025 summer may be long gone, but Good Tide is helping give cannabis consumers in the state a highly desired beach of mind.

Kiwi Strawberry: When it comes to texture and consistency, these Good Tide infused-gummies hit all of the checkmarks. While they hold firm, upon first bite, the gummy begins to fall apart and melt in the mouth. Considering some edible consistencies can be a little tougher to chew, resembling features similar to traditional gummy candies, others may want something that they can easily cut through. That is what consumers get with these Good Tide edibles.

As far as the flavor goes, there is a subtle sweet strawberry sensation that slices through the palate, while a slight sour tartness is brought on from the addition of kiwi. Together, they craft a fine intersection between too sweet and too sour.

With 100mg THC, CBD, and CBG, this particular option is listed as the ‘Refreshing’ choice among the six. Pairing CBD and CBG with the psychoactive effects of the THC, the Kiwi Strawberry cannabis-infused gummies work well after a long, exhausting day. Combining the CBD and CBG allows for an incredibly relaxed feel, offering anti-inflammation and overall acting as a recovery agent, with a little THC for some added fun.

I consumed these edibles after a physically demanding day. About an hour, maybe an hour and a half later, my pain had been suppressed, and I began to slowly fade into a deep sleep.

Grapefruit: Good Tide’s Grapefruit edible option is listed as the ‘Blissful’ alternative. These sweet, citrusy gummies pop like a gusher. While not overly sweet, there is very little sour found in the Grapefruit edibles, unlike many options in the industry. Packed with 100mg THC, CBD, and CBC, these gummies are recommended for consumers looking for a level high that can even help with focus and clarity.

I ate the Grapefruit edibles after meeting up with some friends for some Thursday night football. While my eyes were low, my spirits were high, and engagement immense. I may have nearly fallen asleep around 10 of my friends at times, I believe, due to the sheer amount of THC consumed, but the fear of public humiliation and CBC pulled me through.

Passion Fruit: These tropical edibles may be the sweetest among the three products that I sampled. Very few sour notes come through as an aftertaste, while sugary feels reign supreme. This specific gummy was the only one of the three where slight tastes of weed cut through the fruit.

With 100mg THC, CBD, and CBN, the Passion Fruit edible is listed as the ‘Sleep’ option. It is safe to say that the three cannabinoids paired well for my experience, as a smooth and pleasant high set in after an hour or so, with my eyes slowly beginning to shut around an hour and a half to two hours in. As someone who spends plenty of nights with broken sleep, I only arose once during the night, so I would say that is a clear success.
