Photos: Mavs drop second match against Rapid City Rush

Friday night was not the Kansas City Mavericks’s best performance, losing to the Rapid City Rush 6-3 in the second game of a three-game series despite putting 22 more shots on net. The Mavs got going early with goals from David Cotton and Nathan Dunkley, giving the team a 2-1 lead heading into the second period. Zack Trott was the only Mav to score in the second, and the Rush got hot, knocking in four of their own. They would go on to add one more before the match concluded. The two teams face off again tonight at Cable Dahmer Arena.
