Photos: Kansas City Royals lose first two of a three-game series against the Boston Red Sox
The Kansas City Royals are now scraping to etch one win against the Boston Red Sox in a three-game series that has spanned from Monday to Wednesday. On Monday night, the Yals took a 9-5 loss, as the Red Sox scored seven runs between the sixth and eighth innings, propelling them for an easy win in the series opener. Last night, the Royals looked to get back on track and seemed to be heading that way, having scored a run in the bottom of the first to get momentum on their side. The Sox nipped that in the butt, taking two runs in the second inning to take the lead. The game continued back and forth, ultimately resulting in a 6-5 game two loss for the Royals. They look to scrape up at least one win tonight before the St. Louis Cardinals come to town for the I-70 series.
