Photos: KC Current continue to impress with 5-2 victory over Seattle

The KC Current came out victorious yet again in a thrilling 5-2 win against the Seattle Reign FC on Sunday, June 9. The five goals came from Lauren, Vanessa DiBernardo, Lo’eau LaBonta, and two from Temwa Chawinga. The victory continues to leave the Current sitting atop of the National Women’s Soccer League, tied with the Orlando Pride for best record in the league. Now with eight wins, four draws, and no losses, the Current hope to continue their success down the line, against the Chicago Red Star at home on June 14. In about a month, the Current will truly be tested, as they are set to play the Orlando Pride at CPKC Stadium on July 6.
