It’s no secret that the pop-up bar scene in KC has experienced a remarkable surge in recent years; a trend that isn’t seeming to die down. And while Barbie bars and Stranger Things set-ups are great, there’s something to be said about indulging in an entirely universal experience: the magic of winter. 

The limited-time escapade sits atop the hotel’s rooftop, lined with meticulously crafted igloos that promise cozy refuge and good times. Set in the heart of The Country Club Plaza, the 180-degree vistas capture the area’s iconic lights, serving as a backdrop unlike anywhere else.

Each zip-up igloo is a private haven equipped with twinkling lights, blankets, and a speaker so you can set the mood with your favorite tunes. Surprisingly, the igloos are largely soundproof, so your personal party stays within the walls of your snowy shelter. A welcome batch of hot cocoa sits awaits, and compact heaters are set up to ensure the frigid outside air doesn’t sneak in and break the seal of toastiness.

With an extensive menu of artisanal cocktails, picking just one is tricky. Mule lovers are sure to be smitten by the Cinnamon Apple Mule, served in a classic copper mug and infused in-house. It’s crispy, flavor-packed, and unlike any good old Moscow mule you’ve had before. And for those with a sweet tooth, the Snickerdoodle Martini, resembling and tasting exactly like an alcoholic Snickerdoodle cookie, is a must-try. Mocktails, beer, and wine are available as well. 

Since each igloo can accommodate up to eight people, appetizers like the Pommes Frites and Hummus Trio are perfectly shareable and worth digging into. Crunchy and cheese-sprinkled, the fries come in a bowl big enough to go around. The Hummus Trio is dished with pita slices and a variation of fresh veggies.

Spacious Glamping Lounges are also available for reservation parties with up to 20 people.
