Tyler Deaton, husband of homicide victim Bethany Deaton, finds work teaching; Google-using students get him suspended

Tyler Deaton has not been charged with having any role in the killing of his wife, Bethany Deaton. But there were enough rumors and allegations in a confession by the accused killer that a school in Texas is reconsidering hiring him as a teacher.
Micah Moore, a student at the International House of Prayer University, told Grandview police last fall that he killed Bethany Deaton because Tyler Deaton told him to. He claimed that Tyler Deaton was the leader of an IHOP splinter group which involved members having clandestine sexual relationships, and they feared Bethany would tell people about the sect.
Moore recanted his confession. He’s awaiting trial on the murder charge. Meanwhile, Tyler Deaton moved to Lancaster, Texas, to teach math at Lancaster High School. He passed a background check. But he didn’t pass his students’ Google searches.
